TIPS & TRICKS

TOASTILLA POCKETS
  • We have found that BURRITO SIZE tortillas that are FRESH & SOFT work the best. (and of course...hold the most!!)
  • DO NOT overfill your Toastilla Pocket. While (depending on the size of your tortilla) Toastilla can hold quite a bit of ingredients, overfilling can lead to spillage into your toaster. If you can hinge Toastilla's handles comfortably, you should be good!
OTHER USES
  • Use leftover, previously heated corn tortillas to make a quick tostada. If tortillas have previously been heated and cooled, you need only run it through 1 toaster cycle at 1/4 - 3/4 heat. Adjust to preference of crunchiness.       **Please note: if you intend to make tostadas from fresh tortillas, you will need to run them through twice as instructed above. Make sure toaster is not located under cabinets as there will be STEAM. Tostada WILL BE EXTREMELY HOT but delicious!!
  • Frozen foods typically need to be on the highest heat setting and may need to be run through 2 cycles, depending on the type of food. You will need to adjust accordingly and experiment with specific foods.
GENERAL
  • NO WORRIES if your ingredients leak into your toaster...it has a DRIP TRAY!!
